Fritz Crome (1879-1948)

Fritz Crome was a pianist and pianist pedagogue. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Louis Glass, Hans Pfitzner and M. Moszkowski. He also studied in both Paris and Berlin and was active in Germany in his youth (teacher at the Stein Conservatorium in Berlin). From 1917 he taught piano at the Royal Academy of Music. Also a productive writer and critic on musical subjects. His works include melodramas, chamber music, piano works, choral works, and songs.
