Knud Høgenhaven (1928-1987)
Knud Høgenhaven was an organist and composer. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen from 1945 to 48 with Poul Schierbeck, Jørgen Jersild, Finn Høffding, and Vagn Holmboe. As an organist he was a teacher at the Royal Academy of Music. In 1951 he became connected with The Royal Theatre. He was member of the board of the Society for the Publication of Danish Music. His works include ballets, music for theatre, radio and television, orchestral and chamber music, organ and piano works, solo songs and choral works; as well as educational music.
