Simon Steen-Andersen's prize winning work for gu-zheng and orchestra premiered at the Shanghai Spring International Music Festival 2008.
This is the first version of the work - an extended version of the work (commissioned as a result of the prize) was premiered at the same festival in 2010.
The soloist is Liu Le with The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
