Helle Solberg

(1968-)

Helle Solberg got her musical education in London where she studied at London University, Goldsmith's College in 1992 and at the Royal College of Music in 1997. She won first prize at Adrian Cruft composition competetion with her string quartet Small Thoughts for String Quartet. She has written music for various short and documentary films, which have been screened at film festivals such as Edinburgh and London. Several of them have been shown on TV canals such as DR, BBC, Discovery and Channel 4. She often takes part in debates about the problems concerning the "musical food chain".
