Leif Thybo was an organist and composer. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen until 1944. From 1952 he was a teacher of music theory there. In addition to that he was active as church- and concert organist. His works include concerto for chamber orchestra, chamber music, piano compositions, organ works, and songs; furthermore an organ transcription of the Dumbarton Oaks Concerto by Igor Stravinsky.
