Peter Fievé graduated from the the Academy of Music in Esbjerg with violin as his main subject. While studying he was taught musical theory by - among others - Jørgen Mortensen, Finn Lykkebo and Peder Holm. As a composer he is autodidact, and while being at the Academy he wrote chamber musical works for his fellow students. In 1982 Peter Fievé was employed as violinist in the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra, where he also composes for his fellow musicians. His oeuvre is extensive and includes - among others - chamber music, works for orchestra as well as choral- and vocal music.
