Gothic Suite consists of five movements. As the title suggests, the music is gothic in the sense edged, heavy and bombastic. The three middle rates are simple and short, while the first and last movements are heavy and deliberately overloaded.
All five movements are based on different pieces that I wrote in the late eighties. In the three middle movements, I have not tampered with the original music, but just left it as it was. It has some fumbling and stumbling over them when I didn't know so much about composition technique back then. But in the two outer movements, I have worked originals violently.
