A Song of Salt and Water is shortlisted for the Opus Klassik award in two different categories: Innovative Concert of the Year and Prize for Promoting Young Talent.
A Song of Salt and Water includes Mads Emil Dreyer's work 'Apparitions' and was premiered by ensemble recherche in July 2023.

The OPUS KLASSIK is the most important German award for classical music in Germany and is awarded by Verein zur Förderung der Klassischen Musik e.V. A jury of nine experts from the music and media industry selects the winners in 27 categories.
The winners will be announced in the summer of 2024. The OPUS KLASSIK 2024 will be awarded on the weekend of 11-13 October 2024 in Berlin.
