The pieces featured on the album represent more than five decades in Timothy Baxter’s oeuvre, and the album represents a great variety of international musicians and ensembles.

Cantata Respice in me for soprano, organ and strings was written in 1959 and in this new recording the piece is performed by the Swedish soprano Cecilia Lindwall who is joined by the Danish organist Merethe Lammert Køhl Hansen and strings from Ensemble Mutatis. Ulrich Stærk conducts the cantata and is also represented with recordings of a selection of piano pieces from Timothy Baxter’s early years.
