On Sunday 10 March, Else Marie Pade's work Immortella wil be premiered. The work is composed for 7 percussionists each playing 20 different instruments. Else Marie Pade wrote Immortella in 1970, but revised it several times, most recently in 1984, and the work has never been performed. Now students from the Royal Danish Academy of Music give the piece new life during the Academy's annual festival for new music, PULSAR.
The work consists of 21 sections each illustrating terms such as evil, joy, envy, grief, love and so on.

The work was originally intended as a dramatic ballet pantomime with 1-7 dancers, but on this occasion the work is premiered in a concert version prepared especially for this concert.
