It has been a week of creativity in Edition·S–music¬sound¬art-land, we have been doing a lot of “out of the box”-thinking and into the box again. We have been cutting and folding what seems like a million small black boxes for HCMF’12 filled with … oh, we are not going to tell you that! You’ll have to wait for the festival to discover the black boxes’ secret.
While the girls were polishing off the black boxes, the boys found a massive score by Iraj Schimi from 1976-1977 in the back of the office. It sure has been a week full of all shapes and sizes!
“Boys will be boys”.
In the middle of this music machinery we humbly send our thoughts and love to the great Danish composer Axel Borup-Jørgensen, who passed away Tuesday. He was a true poet of music and will be remembered.
A proud Project Manager Kat Jarby returned from a beautiful weekend with fresh sounds blossoming all over Stockholm, where Edition·S artists Nicolai Worsaae, Klejs & Rønsholdt, Jexper Holmen and Lars Kynde were great successes. She is now looking forward to Wundergrund in Copenhagen next week and Huddersfield Festival next month.
Have a great weekend!
