Gísladóttir, Holmen, Hodkinson, Dreyer and Bergner in NYC

A selection of pieces by Danish based composers are presented at the avant-garde music venue Roulette in New York.

Roulette in New York is described by the New York Times as "One of New York's most important avant-garde music spaces," and on 11 February, the venue will be filled with music published by Edition·S.

Roulette will host the performance Impuls Repsons organized by MV Carbon and Lars Lundehave Hansen in which New York-based avantgarde artists will perform a selection of works by Danish based composers; Bára Gísladóttir, Juliana Hodkinson, Mads Emil Dreyer, Jesper Holmen ad Ylva Lund Bergner.

The show highlights extended approaches to music making, and incorporates spatial elements, sculptural sound objects, audience engagement and collaborative interpretation.

Artistry and sound entwine seamlessly in a formulated discourse, transcending boundaries, converging in experimental resonance, illuminating one another. This vibrant exchange bridges distances, contributing to a nuance of synthesis, vibration, and orchestrated patterns, weaving and unfurling sensations and frequency.

The concert program includes a composition by New York-based MV Carbon, Mads Emil Dreyer's Lys 6, Bára Gísladóttir's GROWL POWER, Juliana Hodkinson's Nothing Breaking, Jexper Holmen's  Dysnomia and Ylva Lund Bergner's B-so-R.

The pieces will be performed by Laura Cocks, Zach Layton, Brian Chase, Samantha Sea Sea and MV Carbon.

The show will be live-streamed and will also be available for viewing after the day of the performance on YouTube.
