The world premiere of the symphonic song cycle "BEINTA" got great reviews.

Foto: Anne Aaby/SPOT Festival The piece is written by Anna Katrin Øssursdóttir Egilstrøð and Allan Gravgaard Madsen, who explore and combine sonorities from contemporary classical music and alternative pop accompanied by the raw, atmospheric work of Faroese film duo RAMMATIK.

Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and Egilstrøð herself premiered "BEINTA" April 30th at SPOT Festival, and the concert has received great reviews.

The critic from Politiken gave the concert a five hearts review and called it poignantly beautiful in its simple combination of sound and image.

The critic from Nordjyske wrote: “When the strings droned and the horns roared and the rhythm decreased it was so magnificent that the jaw dropped all the way to the floor. The 40 minutes went by way too fast.”
