Selected vocal works of Jóhann Jóhannsson will be included in the sub-edition Theatre of Voices Edition initiated and curated by conductor and artistic director Paul Hillier.
Paul Hillier receives the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen honorary award 2023 for his lifelong tireless and passionate work as an internationally recognized specialist in vocal music. The award is celebrated tonight, 12 October, with a festive concert in DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen including Jóhann Jóhannsson's contemporary oratorio Drone Mass performed by American Contemporary Music Ensemble, Theatre of Voices & Adam Wiltzie conducted by Paul Hillier.
