KUNSTPAUSER

Edition·S and Dacapo Records launch the event series KUNSTPAUSER, conversations about contemporary art music and its roots in literature, philosophy and existential questions.

KUNSTPAUSER is realized in collaboration with the bookstore and café Thiemers Magasin on Tullinsgade in Copenhagen, where the events take place.

The series will be launched on February 29, where composer Matias Vestergård, writer Lea Marie Løppenthin and director Natascha Metherell will introduce us to the thoughts behind the award-winning opera, Lisbon Floor, in a conversation moderated by Mia Rendix, member of the Reumert jury.

The conversation about Lisbon Floor will be in English. The following events will be in Danish and include:

Thursday 21 March: ELSE MARIE PADE - the composer, the woman and the spiritual. A conversation with music researcher and Else Marie Pade expert Ingeborg Okkels.

Thursday 18 April: enTmenschT - a musical work about the fear of the future - and perhaps also about hope. A conversation with composer Line Tjørnhøj and soprano Else Torp.
