ManiFeste opens with TRIO

The ManiFeste festival in Paris opens on 31 May with the French premiere of Simon Steen-Andersen's TRIO for big band, choir and orchestra.

The festival organised by IRCAM/Centre Pompidou describes Simon Steen-Andersen's composition as an "ultra-virtuoso collage" and a "profound and disarmingly funny journey into our own musical memory".

TRIO is performed by Orchestre de Paris conducted by Brad Lubman, the vocal ensemble Les Métaboles conducted by Simon Proust and Big Band from the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris conducted by Léo Margue.
