Martin Stauning has been awarded the Axel Borup-Jorgensen prize 2015 with the following motivation: “The prize is awarded to a promising young Danish composer who through his/her works has demonstrated originality and a sure sense of expressing their compositional ideas”. The ceremony was accompanied by a concert in which Martin’s work Nebenschein was performed by Bjarke Mogensen on accordion and Josefine Opsahl on cello.
