The concert programme includes the world premiere of Morten Olsen's Studies I+II - Not the Beginning This is the End.
Morten Olsen has a close relation to Athelas Sinfonietta. He co-founded the ensemble in the early 1990's and he was recently composer in residence, composing, among others, the violin concerto The Heart of Darkness.
