Last year on this evening, Niels Lyhne Løkkegaard performed the two NemID key cards V724-939-280 and H895-179-223 on the church organ. This year (Year 2 A.N. – After NemID), two other key cards will be performed.
Løkkegaard has previously performed key cards as part of his series of personally sensitive musical works — a series in which the digits of NemID key cards are translated into musical tones.
Since 2018, Niels Lyhne has worked with the key card in various ways — both as an aesthetic object and as a political piece of paper stretched between the digital and the analog, and between the anonymous and the ultra-personal; a (now outdated) key to the welfare state (le passe-partout).
In addition to translating the key cards into music, he has also created a Nemorial — a digital memorial wall to which you can donate your used NemID key card, if you still have any lying around (in that case, be sure to bring it to the concert).
