The French pianist Béatrice Berg was born 100 years ago and on that occasion, a memorial concert is held on December 13 in Copenhagen. Béatrice Berg was recognized as an important interpreter of modern piano music in Europe. She was married to the Danish composer Gunnar Berg, and his major solo piano work Gaffky´s was composed for her.
On December 13, Gunnar Berg's Gaffky's is performed by the Swedish pianist Jonas Olsson. The concert is part of the concert series Moderne Mandag and takes place in KoncertKirken in Copenhagen.
