Last year’s festival poster as seen in real life.
Curatorium is a curatorial non-event celebrating sound. The festival, both taking and not taking place, explores the possibility for an event or work of art to exist solely on the basis of the framing of said event or work of art.
In 2016, Niels Lyhne Løkkegaard created the festival and included a wide selection of fictitious works in the programme – such as a composition for 100 bleeding hearts and a piece for hi-hats, waterfall and modular synthesizer.
This year’s edition presents new fictitious works by an array of Danish and international composers, including Edition·S composers Simon Steen-Andersen and Jeppe Just Christensen.
