The programme will include works for strings and video along with a new version of the multimedia piece Run Time Error. The piece draws its material from sound and video recordings made backstage at the Miller Theatre. During the concert Simon Steen-Andersen will perform a live remix of these recordings into an audiovisual sequence. Watch a trailer for the concert here.

In addition to the concert at the Miller Theatre September also sees the performances of Simon Steen-Andersen’s music in Europe. On September 10 the Nadar Ensemble will perform Amid at the Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Holland and on September 12, during the Ultima FestivalEnsemble Musikfabrik will perform Steen-Andersen’s latest work “Korpus” for 7-8 musicians and three Harry Partch-instruments.
