In recent years Niels Lyhne Løkkegaard has created a series of works based on the idea of imaginary sound, sonic potential and curatorial non-events. In different ways the works all relate to the transition between potential and actual reality.
In the solo exhibition 'Into Utopia' a number of Løkkegaard's works are presented, ranging from installations without physical sound to imaginary experiences of sound from texts and drawn sound
The audience is invited to enter a utopian soundscape in which the listeners must each find their own inner sound world. In this way the listener becomes the creator of the imaginary works - it is the ultimate audience involvement.
