On September 7 the Danish ensemble FIGURA is performing Steingrimur Rohloff at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk.
Through the last 17 years FIGURA has unfolded creativity in many ways and month after month you can find them in various combinations in Denmark as well as abroad. In the recent years, FIGURA established itself as a central and vital ensemble for drama and contemporary music on the Danish music scene.
This time the ensemble invites us to Louisiana, where they will perform together with Seattle Chamber Players. After the Icebreaker Festival in 2010, which Seattle Chamber Players hosted, FIGURA invited them to come and perform as guests in Denmark after a three years break.
Edition·S’ new composer is FIGURA ensemble's Composer in Residence and they will in collaboration with him perform his work Still Not / Not Yet.
