On August 6 you can experience the piece in Tivoli Garden’s concert hall, on August 7 in Aarhus Cathedral, on August 8 in Michael and Anna Ancher’s House in Skagen, on August 11 the piece is performed in Norby Church on the Danish island of Fanø and then the day after in Koldinghus.
“Birkebark” consists of four nocturnes for five part choir and was written to poems by Frank Kjørup in 2012.
