World premiere for Christian Winther Christensen

There are moments in any artist's creative life that might be described as a notable; for Christian Winther Christensen, the premiere of his new Chromatische Weltmusik, for cello, accordion, and orchestra, is undoubtedly to be one of them. With Toke Møldrup and Bjarke Mogensen as soloists, respectively, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra under Thomas Søndergård will give the first performance of what is the young Danish composer's largest work to date.

The new piece will form part of a concert celebrating the Danish Composers' Association 100 year jubilee, which begins at 7:30pm at the Danish Radio Concert House, Copenhagen.
