World premiere of BEINTA – symphonic song cycle

The composers Allan Gravgaard Madsen and Anna Katrin Øssursdóttir Egilstrøð have written the work BEINTA, a symphonic song cycle that explores and fuses sounds from con­­temporary composition music and alternative pop.

BEINTA will be given its first performance on Saturday 30 April at 15:00 by the Aarhus Sym­phony Orchestra with composer/singer Anna Katrin Øssursdóttir Egilstrøð, conductor Jesper Nordin and RAMMATIK, who have created visuals for the work. 

BEINTA is produced by AUT in collaboration with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and the SPOT Festival and is part of the celebrations of AUTs 50th anniversary which take place throughout 2016. Read more about BEINTA.
