Zehn japanische Holzschnitte out on CD

Gunnar Berg's song cycle Zehn japanische Holzschnitte from 1938 is a set of songs for solo voice and piano.

The composer Gunnar Berg was inspired by Japanese woodcuts depicting the Japanese Mount Fuji. Last year Signe Asmussen and Erik Kaltoft released the CD “Danish Songs with Far Eastern Inspiration” at the label CDKlassisk. The recording has given rise to a series of concerts, which include Zehn japanische Holzschnitte.
