Four additional instruments are used in this piece. The instruments are homebuilt string instruments controlled by a pedalboard with buttons, placed on the floor in front of each string player. Each string player has their own pedal and instrument. A metal-slide is put underneath a guitar string, it moves back and forth and in this way tunes the strings up and down in glissandi. The metal-slide is put in the middle of the strings, and is dividing the strings into two parts, and an actuator is attached to the metal-slide, which makes it move from side to side. You can the play on both sides of the strings, which is done with small motors connected to a pedalboard with buttons. The instruments are amplified via guitar pick-ups into amps.
