On April 28, 2013 the two Edition·S – music¬sound¬art composers Carl Bergstrøm-Nielsen and Henrik Rasmussen invite to a release party for a Polish recording of their music.
Carl Bergstrøm-Nielsen and Henrik Rasmussen are known for their “intuitive”, graphically notated music and have worked together for many years. Now the Polish record label Dux Records releases an album with their music recorded by the Polish ensemble Kwartludium. In that context the two playful composers invite to a release party on Sunday April 28 at 2 pm. The release party is held at the cosy Møsting Hus in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
At the release party Carl Bergstøm-Nielsen’s Postcard Compositions (1976) is performed, which can also be found on the CD together with Henrik Rasmussen’s Path Routes (2009). The invite to the release party promises that two surprises will be revealed and that there will be a screening of a video by Partyk Matela. The video consists of interviews, photos and reportage, which was filmed as a documentation of the recordings done in Warsaw, partly in a great studio and partly at a festival.
