The Edition·S January performance calendar for January kicks off with Lumbye’s Champagne Galop performed by the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, on a tour starting this evening. Rune Glerup’s Dust Encapsulated #2 will performed by Ensemble NOISE at the SoundOn Festival in San Diego and his Piano Quartet will be performed by the Copenhagen Piano Quartet in Copenhagen. In Paris one can hear Christian Winther Christensen’s Sextet performed by ensemble Aleph and the month is rounded off with Simon Steen-Andersen’s Next to Besides Besides #0+4 performed by the Lands End Ensemble.
