About two years ago, a very curious and open-minded young lady named Signe came to me to learn the piano. She had never played before, but had bought an electric piano from an acquaintance, and her musical talent found its way to my doorstep.
I wanted to give her the best possible experience whilst she was playing, so I invited her into my creative world. I encouraged her to start improvising, composing and playing the little pieces I’d written for her. The pieces focus around various themes – a piece about dotted quavers, or about counterpoint, or 3/4 time etc.
I hope your musicality and creativity find expression through this piano book.
