The Song is a part of the album Songs and Movements by SCENATET and Jeppe Just Instituttet released by Dacapo Records 2015. “It's about repetitions and a hopelessly stamping beauty, and you are no less of a happy human being by listening to Jeppe Just Instituttet and the chamber ensemble Scenatet worshipping the crooked and the nostalgic,” the Danish newspaper Politiken wrote. Simon Christensen: Manifest (2012-2013)
Signe Madsen, Birgitte Bærentzen Pihl, Mina Fred, and Sofie Olsson recorded Manifest released by Dacapo Records in 2016. The piece is 75 minutes long and composed for 2 violins, viola, and cello. Following the release, MusicWeb International wrote: “If this is beautiful, it is most certainly a different beautiful than any other beautiful before”. Listen to the album
Jexper Holmen: Oort cloud (2009)
Oort Cloud is Jexper Holmen's remarkable breakthrough work commissioned by the Huddersfield Festival for Contemporary Music. It is a 40-minute piece for saxophone, 2 accordions, and live recording released by Dacapo Records in 2011 with Torben Snekkestad, Frode Andersen, and Frode Haltli. The Gapplegate Music Review wrote: “There is nothing quite like this piece out there. You may love it, you may hate it, but you cannot ignore it.” Listen to the album
