Royal Danish Theatre commissions ...

The libretto has been written by the author and musician Kristian Leth (b. 1980). The opera, with the title Dark Matters, will be premiered in the spring of 2018 on the Old Stage of the Royal Theatre by the opera soloists of the Royal Theatre, the Royal Danish Orchestra and the Chorus of the Royal Opera.

Christian Winther Christensen’s double concerto Chromatische Weltmusik [Ohne Fremde Elemente] should have been premiered in 2013, but the performance was cancelled due to the storm “Bodil”. The premiere instead took place in 2014 at the Austrian festival Klang-spuren.
