New Music for Strings in Aarhus, Copenhagen and Reykjavík

New Music for Strings Festival launches its third annual season taking place 11-25 August. Hosted by The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus, Denmark, and the Iceland Academy of the Arts, NMFS brings together performers and composers of contemporary classical music from across the Atlantic.

Now it is released as their first single, and you can find it on various streaming services and digital stores.

Significant work grants for Edition·S composers

Photo: Mette Kramer KristensenEach year the Danish Arts Foundation provides work grants for a selection of the best and most promising artists in Denmark. This year 239 composers have received grants of amounts between DKK 40.000 and DKK 250.000 included in this are several Edition·S composers.
