The Danish-based British composer Timothy Baxter (1935-2021) passed away on May 15, 85 years old. He leaves behind an extensive musical oeuvre, and he wrote his last piece just a few days before his death.

The pieces are commissioned and performed by the Danish National Vocal Ensemble as a special initiative during the COVID-19 lockdown. In a press release from DR, the artistic director of the Danish National Vocal Ensemble, Michael Emery says:
